High seedling mortality reduces habitat of animals & impacts climate negatively. Furthermore, planting trees is labor- and therefore cost-intensive, since maintenance is needed for up to 3 years after planting.

Leaf.it is creating a holistically effective seedling protection product that reduces seedling mortality and the labor needed for post-planting maintenance. The product is assembled like a plate around the seedling and is shaped in a way that optimizes hydration and offers protection from animals. Futhermore, it is made out of recycled plastic, which is durable and reusable. There are already products on the market for hydration or protection of tree seedlings, but we offer the first product that combines both aspects effectively.
